The Obsidian project started with a clear challenge: how to present luxury jewelry in a way that feels bold, premium, and emotionally immersive while still maintaining usability and guiding customers toward purchase decisions. Through early ideation and brand analysis, I identified the need for a visual direction that blends sophistication with a darker, more dramatic artistic tone that matches the brand’s identity.
I designed a visually elegant layout featuring clean negative space, subtle metallic accents, and high-quality imagery to highlight craftsmanship and material detail. Each visual choice was made to elevate perceived value while reinforcing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic.

Beyond aesthetics, I shaped user flows that smoothly guide visitors from discovery to product detail and through the purchase process. This included refining navigation clarity, emphasizing key product information, and minimizing friction in exploration paths.

The final experience merges high-end branding with user-centred design resulting in a website that looks luxurious, feels immersive, and supports the business goal of increasing engagement and conversion.
